Having had such a busy few weeks - I made sure that I cleared my agenda last weekend and, having invited my sister and Ellie over for a crafty-girlie weekend, set to scrapping my little heart out. I think we finally got to sleep at around 4 am on the Saturday night, only to be up again bright and early Sunday morning to make sure we finished what we had started.

This page is a little follow up to the "Go!" page you may remember I made a few months to reassure myself about going off to uni. This one tells the tale of how much time I wasted worrying and how much I'm enjoying all the new experiences. Papers are Sassafras Lass and Creative Imaginations, rubber stamps from Paperartsy and The English Stamp Co., rubons are Ki Memories Elsie and Daisy D's, definition sticker by MM, glitzy letter stickers from a local cheapo shop (love that!), various tatts of ribbon and lace and a humble paper clip - which took me ages to find!! I cut the funky flower-style embellies from some kraft paper, been eyeing up the felt ones in the Fancy Pants 12x12 packs but they are a bit beyond my means at the moment so had to improvise :) Aaaaaah, one of Ellie-bellie. The blue-green paper is old K&Co which I bought absolutely aaaaages ago, think the pink one is from the Art Warehouse Fresh line, and epoxy embellie by Cactus pink. A bit of painted sequin waste, lace, a date stamp and heart sticker and it was done. Nice.
And one of the other half. He's feeling a bit macho at the moment as he's now a fully fledged and licenced doorman and looks pretty hunky in his suit - lol!!! Papers here are Sassafras Lass (the green), SEI (the hearts) and Scenic Route (the hoops). Overlay by Hambly, some more sequin and lace (is anyone detecting a slight obsession here?!) and a big special squishy thanks to the lovely Gems for the fab journalling spot and Prima birdie which she very kindly gave me when she visited a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't have done it without em, hun!!
Thanks for looking :)

No other news here, apart from the fact that I don't like how much text books cost, even second hand ones!!!! xxx

Great Lo's, Nat. Very nice...

Am totally with you, on the expensive textbooks - I feel your pain. However, does your Uni have a library? Make the most of it. Once I discovered it, I hardly bought anymore books (notice the 'hardly').

Glad you are enjoying student-life... xx
