Twinkle Twinkle!

Here's the last layout I created for this months Sarah's Cards kit.....I love this one! It's hard for me to tear away from patterned paper (pardon the pun!!) but I wanted to try something a little different and was really happy with how this turned out.

Some mist layered up with the grid transparencies made for a perfect background:
Before misting, I used some hand cut star shapes as masks, which once my layout was assembled with the transparencies in place, I stitched around to give them more definition, right on top of the plastic.

See, it's always worth playing around with something different to your usual style - you may find you like it!!

However, my love for pattern and colour combining is deep so I'm sure this minimalistic thang won't last long!

Catch you all soon :) xxxx

Clever idea to sew right through the transparency too. Love the little extra cluster of stuff too :)
