Been a bumpy and busy time here. Trying to settle into my new school placement but not enjoying it so much as quickly as I did last year :( My last school and class teacher were fantastic and sooo supportive, and it's hard not to make comparisons to my experience last year to this one. I hope I will enjoy my time there and develop my teaching skills as much as I did last year. Fingers crossed (and teeth gritted!). I'm half way through the course now - Scary Mary! This time next year I will be beginning to apply for jobs - let's hope there's one out there for me!
Also bumper to bumper with assignments too. Just handed a massive art portfolio in this week which took me weeeeeeeks to complete - it was practical based so very labour intensive, but hopefully it will be every lesson plan for art I will ever need when I'm teaching lol - and now have a Science and Educational Studies ones to get cracking with. Oh the joys!!!
As well as school, uni and life in general, I've been busy with DT stuff.
I made a lovely mini wall hanging for Bubbly Scrumptious this week, to showcase some mini chipboard bases.
You can see the full project and instructions here - it's a lovely quick project to make!My first assignment for Sarah's Cards was to get creative with the Prudence line of paper and embellies from Crate. The first of my pages has already been up on the Sarah's Cards Blog, so I can share it with you here.
Keep your eyes peeled for the other two on their blog. I've already received my next kit, and I'm hoping to squeeze in a bit of time between uni assignments this weekend to get going with it!!Will back soon with some more posts, have been super organised this week and can promise some more blog posts in the next few days!!
See you soon xxxx

And finally, my mum loves Elephants so I made her this lil girlie....
What I find is amazing is that I've only been crocheting a few weeks, and Santa found the time to organise and leave a lil something like this in a funky purple for me in my stocking at my mum's house:
And this fab book for me at Gem's house....
Which just goes to show Santa has his little elfin spies everywhere :) So far I've done the ever so cute baby hedgehog, but he's living at my mum's house at the moment, keeping the elephant company! Will have to nab him back to take his photo!
