Cor blimey! The weather here is pretty awful, I can't see my front garden for the fog.
Thanks for all the comments about the photo in my last post...grrrr, bad camera for producing the supernatural effect when all I wanted was a nice lil holiday snap! Cool though. Sorry for any resulting nightmares lol!
Just a lil reminder about my posts every Wednesday over here, be sure not to miss it cos tomorrows has already gone up and so you may have to scroll down a lil bit. Today I've shared a video that I found to be really inspirational for scrapbooking, and life in general, so go take a peep. There's a new inspirational post by one of the girls everyday, so it's worth adding to your feeds, readers or bookmarks :)
I've got my teaching placement info for the new year, in a really local school this year - I could walk to it if I was feeling energetic! No more driving over mountains and cliff edges to get to school. Hope it is going to be as lovely as the experience I had last year, but as they say, always expect the unexpected eh?!
No real news otherwise. Up to my wee lil eyeballs in uni work! Got two assignments with deadlines fast approaching, and have to teach an athletics PE lesson this week - that is SURE to be eventful let me tell you!! So on that note, I better be off-ski and carry on with my work *sigh*. What's that they say about resting and the wicked? ;)
Catch you all soon,

Things of the other world......
I'm still working through all those holiday shots, and came across this a few weeks ago and thought I would share it to see what you think.
I took this pic on the last night of our holiday, while Lee and I were sat near the bar in the reception area during the last few hours before our airport transfer. You know the time, when you start clicking aimlessly at everything in sight as a last minute attempt to "remember" everything about your holiday?!
On my camera's LCD display it just appeared to be a random shot of the bar seating area. So imagine my surprise to spot a headless, bare foot little girl running through the picture!!! I couldn't believe what I could see, and even Lee, who is more sceptical than I am,
agreed it was a strange. Especially as we sat there for almost two hours and there were definitely no kids about!!
My mum has seen it and she thought it was spooky, so take a look for yourself and let me know what you think! I have not edited it in any way - this is exactly how it has uploaded from my memory card to my pc. Seriously. Click on it to make it bigger and have a good squizz!!!
I have been reading quite a bit lately, and finished this up on my sleep in shift at work last night. The majority of the book was really compelling; I was fascinated by the characters and the way their tales interwove with each other, but as I was coming towards the end I had a feeling I was going to be disappointed. And I'm still unsure about it now that I finished it. No doubt I enjoyed it overall, but I guess it didn't finish up as neatly as I like.
However, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it today, and the more I think about the story, the more I appreciate the craft of the author, David Mitchell. Maybe I need to read it again, but it's due back at the library tomorrow! Anyone read it? I'd love to know what you think!

Woe is me Wednesday!! :)
Sniff sniff! Feeling sorry for myself at the moment as I have painful sinuses and toothache so my whole face is in agony! Awwww :(
My first contribution to the Bubbly Scrumptious E-mag blog is up today. Here's just a lil sneak peek of what I got up to with some gorgeous Cosmo Cricket chrimbo papers and one of Caroline's chipboard specials, be sure to go here for the full article and step by step instructions :)

I can hardly believe that it was Ellie's second birthday over the weekend. Where did time go?
She thoroughly enjoyed her party - I did not see much of her as she was busy trotting off doing her own thing amongst the swings and slides and ball pools at the play centre.
And woah, I never realised how tough shooting "action" shots of kids is! I now have about 100 photos of blurry lil bodies scurrying over the play equipment lol! Any decent shots I did manage to get of Ellie were when she was eating - and had tomato sauce all over her face! This is just about the only one I got of her, so at least we have one to record her party memories by!

I made her a card:

Well they have today modified their monthly kit blog to a daily blog, which promises to be full of inspiration and creativity.

Pimped!
Yup, I pimped my blog :)
Been needing a lil make over for a while but was put off by the thought of loosing all my links and badges, until I heard about this site where they do templates that don't affect any of that. And I happened to find this lil template there which perfectly fitted my existing header, so that saved me a job in making a new one there! As it happened, I did loose my badges and my counter, so had to have a fiddle replacing them, and played about with font colours etc but, voila, here it is :) Hope you will be happy visiting!
Made a card last night, I originally started it as a Get Well Soon card for a colleague who's having an op this week, but then realised it's my Aunt's birthday Monday so it will be winging it's way to her instead :) It did not turn out at all like I envisaged, as usual lol, but I think it's a grower.

And here are a few (read: loads!) snaps of my niecey-baby on Halloween. Such a cute lil witch, although we all know that she's really a little devil!.jpg)

Hope you have all had a safe Guy Fawkes night! I love the sight of fireworks but am a bit nervous of them so have watched the pretty lights across the city from the warmth and safety of my lounge window! I have got a bit of a chest cold starting, so snuggling in with some hot chocolate was probably the best option for me anyway!
Catch you later xxx
